A Seed

June 12th, 2008

A seed has been planted. A seed that will grow and mature and take the world by storm. Chances are that it will eventually steal your job and probably your woman too.

Is this some miracle plant that can be cultivated in the most thirsty of rain-deprived lands? Is this some sentient robot created in my garage whose blinking LEDs will be the last thing you see before you perish at its hands...or claws? No. And no.

...

Kelly is great with child!

She is about 13 weeks along. Last week was the second sonogram and could actually make out a tiny head and arms. And it was hopping around. And it was reading a book. Very fun.

The due date is around Christmas. The first date we were told was December 24th. Which is perfect: My birthday is December 20th, there is Christmas, and then our anniversary is December 27. Why not cram as much as possible into 8 days?

Our families are super excited, and so are we. I'm sure you are too. If you need an address to send your myrrh to us, leave us a note in the comments.

JaredHappy baby! This is way better news than when Maury told me my DNA indicates I have gymnospermicidal ancestry.

It really steals spotlight from my news of finishing the final touches on my full-blown cowboy 'stache though.

So Kelly, which is more fun to host as a parasite: babies or scabies?

brendomanWow, congrats. All you Truman folks sure have been making with the babies. Is this part of some world domination plan I wasn't told about?

John HCongratulations! Life as you know it is officially over.

But it is so very much worth it.

13 weeks... hmmm... I guess Ireland was a good trip, then?

NanaI've not told anyone, except family, hard for me! Tell Wembley to enjoy life while he can, soon ears will be pulled and twisted and eyes poked. Boy or girl or one of each? I think Montgomery or Psycho or Isolation would be better for a name.

KristyHaha, I have been wondering about Ireland as well. Will the baby be named Fergal O'Shea McGillicuddy Ward??
