And Now Back to Our Show.

I've been going to so many comic conventions lately, I've barely had time for any shows. So, this week I returned to the Detroit Bar for a great show with none other than Francisco the Man!
For those unfamiliar with Francisco the Man, they are an indie rock band of the highest caliber and, up until this very week, I was led to believe they were broken up.
A little back story here: I first heard the band when they played some shows with Ann Lynn a couple of years back. I instantly fell in love, picked up a copy of their demo CD, and made it out to a few more shows. Then, earlier this year, I went to see them at the now defunct e-Vocal venue. Francisco the Man was a no-show, and the rumor was spread that they had broken up. Bummer.
Of course, it turned out not to be true. They were just taking a little break. They've been with us all along, and last Monday I finally got to see them again. Their set was awesome! Somehow, they can play seven minute songs and keep my rapt attention the entire time. Scott, the lead singer, said probably ten words total for the entire set, yet he comes off humble and not aloof. It's hard to put into words, but a Francisco the Man show is always a treat. Do yourself a favor and make it out to one before they "break up" again.
Needless to say, I'm very glad they're back. Well, not really back, but you get what I mean.
Brax.
