Tuesday Tunes

This Tuesday I went to yet another great show in a long run of great shows. I headed out to Riverside, CA to Catch Ann Lynn and Slings live at La Sierra University. The students put on a concert series there called Tuesday Tunes. It was a great setup, and I'm sure I'll be making it out to more of those in the future.

I came a little late, so the first band I caught was Slings. They played their unique brand of indie-folk eclectic music that is just so irresistible. Plus, their diverse range of musical instruments, including trombone, accordion, harmonica, and many others, made for a captivating live show.

Next up was Ann Lynn. After a long absence from live shows, it was great to see the full band again. Their set consisted of almost all new songs, except of course their ever popular "The Scene." Somehow this simple four piece band has the power to keep an entire room enraptured, even when their set is pushed late into the night.
